The appendix is a fingerlike pouch attached to the big intestine and located in the lower right area of the abdomen. Scientists are not sure what the addendum does, if anything, but removing it does not appear to affect a person’s health. The inside of the addendum is called the appendiceal lumen. Mucus shaped by the addendum travels through the appendiceal lumen and empties into the large intestine.
Appendicitis is the most common reason for abdominal surgery in children. About four of every 1,000 children under the age of 14 will knowledge surgery called an appendectomy to remove their appendix. Appendicitis rarely occurs in children under the age of two, and mostly occurs in people flank by the ages of 15 and 30. Appendicitis is more usual in males than females.
Chronic appendicitis is quite rare, develops slower, has less marked symptoms and it is much more difficult to diagnose. Some people with chronic appendicitis may only experience a sweeping state of fatigue and illness.

• Vegetable Juices: One can mix 100 ml of beet root juice and 100 ml of cucumber juice with 300 ml of carrot juice and drink it twice daily. This particular combination is effective in treating lymph node infection in appendicitis. • Ginger and Garlic: Eating raw or powdered ginger-garlic combination is effective in not only reducing pain but also reduces swollen appendix also. • Many vegetable juices are valuable in providing relieve in case of having a problem of appendicitis. 100 ml of beet juice and 100 ml of cucumber juice if mixes with 300 ml of carrot juice then it will prove a beneficial combination. • For people who suffer from fever, along with appendicitis, decoction of the basil leaves will prove beneficial. Steep the leaves in boiling water and let them stand for 5 minutes. Strain it and your decoction is ready. • Avoid constipation - In other words, the patient of appendicitis should accept all measures to eliminate constipation. Once the waste matter in the calcium has moved into the colon and is then getting rid of, the irritation and inflammation in the appendix will subside and surgical exclusion of the appendix may not be essential.
