If you have ever experienced the pain or embossment of a boil on your face you no doubt would have liked to have had a boils treatment that worked quickly and effectively. Many people experience having a boil at sometime in their life. Luckily it is not a repeated problem for most. Unfortunately some people suffer from recurring boils. These boils can be located on almost any area of the body, the face and neck being a very visible area, while others are less obvious.
Symptoms sometimes come in the form of itching right before the development of lumps. The lymph nodes or glands begin to swell and there is a small and tender hump on the skin that gets larger each day. The area begins to turn red and the center is clear or there is a sign of fluid. It is often painful when touched.

Home Remedies for Boils: -
• Garlic and Onions have been proved to be among the most effective home remedy for boils treatment among several other remedies. Onion juice or garlic juice may be applied on boils externally to ripen them, break and evacuate the pus. Juices of both these vegetables can be mixed in equal quantities and applied on the boil for beneficial results. • Honey: There are several ways to prepare honey as a home remedy for boil. One is to mix honey with oil. Two is to soak in to honey fresh figs. Three is to combine wheat germ and honey. And four is plain warm honey. Apply one of these on the affected area and the boil will come to its head. • Hot parsley proves efficient in treating boils. Boil some water and steep parsley in it, till it becomes soft and juicy. Thereafter, wrap the parsley in a clean muslin or linen cloth and apply on the boils, as a poultice. • Another efficient remedy would be to apply a mixture of 1 tsp milk cream, 1 tsp vinegar and a pinch of turmeric powder, on the boils. This would ripen the boil without letting it get septic. • Herbs like turmeric, garlic, onion, neem leaves, betel leaves are very useful in boils treatment. They can be consumed in the form of pills or can be directly apply on the affected area after making a paste. • Margosa leaves have proven effective in treating boils. They can be either used as a poultice, liniment or decoction with positive results. To make the decoction, boil 15 gm of margosa leaves in 500 ml water till it is reduced by one-third.
